2017 Honorees

Jennifer Kasanof 

Jennifer Kasanof is a graduate of Pingry High School. She went on to The University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2001 with a bachelors in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Jennifer moved to New York City and worked for Arthur Anderson and KPMG in Forensic Accounting and Litigation Advisory Services. 

 In 2004, Jennifer attended NYU Stern Business School. After receiving her MBA, Jennifer worked for the UBS Investment Bank in its Consumer Products & Retail Group for five years. As an Associate and later Director, Jennifer advised large and mid-cap companies on M&A, financing and strategic alternatives. Jennifer was selected into the UBS Ascent Leadership Program and led the efforts for recruiting women into investment banking.

In 2011, Jennifer moved back to New Jersey and now has 2 children, Molly and Bradley, with her husband Vanya. She was on the Board of CASA SHaW 2012-2014, and became Treasurer. CASA SHaW continues to be very important to Jennifer and she remains active in the organization.


Dr. Randal D. Pinkett

Dr. Randal Pinkett has established himself as an entrepreneur, speaker, author and scholar, and as a leading voice for his generation in business and technology. 

 He is the founder, chairman and CEO of his fifth venture, BCT Partners, a multimillion-dollar management consulting, research and evaluation, information technology, and data analytics firm headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. He has been featured on nationally televised programs such as The Today Show, CNN, MSNBC, and ABC’s Nightlight. 

 In 2009, he was named to New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine’s official shortlist as a potential running mate for Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey. 

 Dr. Pinkett is the author of Campus CEO and No-Money Down CEO and co-author of Black Faces in White Places. He holds five degrees including: a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, where he competed as a championship track and field athlete; a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Oxford in England as a Rhodes Scholar; and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering, MBA, and Ph.D. from MIT. He was the winner of NBC’s hit reality television show, “The Apprentice,” and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and First Baptist Church in Somerset, New Jersey, where he resides with his family, including a daughter and two sons.
